  Herkimer College seniors Korey Bunal (Rome) and Rhiannon Steele (Little Falls) have been selected for the 2015 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. The Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence recognizes students who have best demonstrated and have been recognized for, the integration of academic excellence with accomplishments in the areas of leadership, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, campus involvement or career achievement.

  Twenty eight artists, who are supported by the Herkimer ARC, will have their artwork featured in Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery, from Thursday, April 23 to Sunday, May 31.

  Fashion Club Attends Syracuse Fashion Show

  The Herkimer College Fashion Club attended the Syracuse Fashion Week Gala at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse on Saturday, April 11. Every dollar raised from the event will provide 3.5 meals for the CNY Food Bank. The Fashion Club’s attendance alone generated 2,800 meals that will feed needy individuals across Central New York.

  The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 282/283. The annual meeting will be immediately followed by a regularly scheduled meeting.
