  • Herkimer College Students Visit Newest BODY WORLDS Exhibit.
    Herkimer College students and faculty visited Gunther von Hagen’s BODY WORLDS: Pulse at Discovery Times Square, New York for the exhibit’s opening on April 4. The exhibit is the newest in the renowned BODY WORLDS series, which has presented the human body in groundbreaking ways for discovery to more than 36 million people around the world during its 18 year tenure. Students enrolled in Herkimer’s Physical Therapist Assistant and Allied Health and Science programs, as well as several members of the Science Club, were able to view real human bodies preserved with plastination technology to study the anatomy of the human body in its healthy and diseased state. Faculty chaperones in attendance included Dr. Catherine Delorme, PT, DPT; Dr. Karen Jones PT, DPT; Scott Miller, PTA mentor; Rebecca Ward, Assistant Professor of Biology and Dr. Nicole McDaniels, Assistant Professor of Science. The trip was sponsored by Herkimer College's Center for Student Leadership & Involvement and the Science Departments.
  • Professional Development Workshops
    Herkimer College is offering several non-credit professional development workshops. All workshops will take place on Thursday May 8 and will be instructed by LeeAnne Krusemark.
  • Notice of Board of Trustees Meetings
    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold their annual board meeting followed by a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 282/283.
  • Herkimer Faculty Promoted to Associate and Assistant Professor Ranks
    The Herkimer College Board of Trustees, at the March 26 meeting, took action to recognize the following employees through approval of promotion in rank, effective September 1, 2014.
  • Herkimer College to Host Wellness Day
    Herkimer College is hosting a Wellness Day on Thursday, April 24 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
  • Senior Acrylics Class Offered
    Herkimer College will be offering a non-credit Senior Acrylics watercolor class.
