Local Standout Maddie Renshaw Signs with Generals
Herkimer High School standout Maddie Renshaw has signed a Letter Of Intent to play for the Herkimer Generals women's soccer team. Maddie has been a staple in the midfield on the Herkimer Magicians Varsity Team since she was in 8th grade. As a 5 year starter, Maddie was named league all-star three times garnering the honor in 2013, '15, and '16. She was also named to the Section 3 Class C All-Star Team. In her senior season Renshaw recorded 17 goals & 9 assists to bring her career total to 36 goals & 30 assists. “Maddie is a tremendously gifted midfielder who will be able to come in as a freshman and be a leader on the field for us.” Head Coach Palkovic continued, “She has a true passion for the game and is a very smart player who can read the game better than most at our level. To say I’m thrilled she is coming here to play is an understatement.”
