Jackson’s play on the court earns her Green & Gold

HERKIMER, NY – Herkimer Generals women’s basketball player Khristaijah Jackson of Levittown, PA was named Green & Gold Female Athlete of the Month for November.

Jackson, a Business: Sports & Recreation Management major at Herkimer College averaged 20.8 points and 13.8 rebounds per game in the opening month of the regular season. The center has scored 20 or more points in four of the games she played in, amassing a season-high 39 against Tompkins-Cortland at home. Jackson has also collected double digit rebound totals in six of her eight games allowing her to capture a double double in every one of those contests. Her season-high 21 rebounds against the Spartans in the season opener helped the Generals start the season on a three-game win streak.

“I'm extremely excited for Khristaijah on her selection to the Green and Gold Club,” said Head Women’s Basketball Coach P.J. Anadio. “It's obvious that she is an exceptional athlete and basketball player, but more importantly she is a wonderful student and person. She is a great representative of this program, a true ambassador of our college and is the epitome of what we envision a student-athlete to be here at Herkimer College!”
