Herkimer County Community College will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.

The College will reopen and resume normal operations Tuesday, Sept. 8.

HCCC Ranks Among Best Community Colleges in the Nation on Cost and Quality

Financial services web site, WalletHub, recently released a list detailing the best and worst community colleges for 2017. HCCC was ranked #61 in the nation, and #5 in New York State, on this list.

WalletHub compared more than 700 community colleges across 14 key indicators of cost and quality. Their data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees to student-faculty ratio to graduation rate.
