Generals Win 3-1 on the Road at Clinton

Plattsburgh State, NY – The Generals continued their winning ways on the road with a 3-1 over Clinton CC.  The game was played at Plattsburgh State’s stadium.  Sophomore Luke Murphy (Glasgow, Scotland) scored in the 44th minute off of a penalty kick.  A shot was taken outside the penalty area that hit a Clinton defender hand inside the box.  Freshman Shane Hennessy (Yonkers, NY) scored in the 57th minute off a cross from Sophomore Kadeem Joseph (Brooklyn, NY).  Hennessy struck the ball first time into the far side netting.  Clinton responded in the 63rd minute off of a turnover by a Herkimer defender.  Lucas Rabideau scored off an assist by Darien Valasquez.  Freshman Tyler Dobinson (Exeter, England) put the game away in the 86th minute off of a rebound shot from Sophomore Walter Medina (Brooklyn, NY).  Sophomore GK Roandre Wollery (Hartford, Conn) recorded two saves for the Generals.

Herkimer returns back  to action this Wednesday where they will host North Country CC.  Kick-off is at 4:30pm.
