Generals lose season opener 66-57 to Cayuga CC

Herkimer, N.Y. - The women's basketball seasoned opened up the 2017 campaign with a tough loss.  The Generals kept the game close in the first half but Cayuga pulled away in the end.  Herkimer's offense was lead by guards Sierra Henry (Newfield, NY) and Nylasia Sutton (Troy, NY) who both scored 14 points.  Sutton would also grab 8 defensive rebounds for Herkimer.  Forward Shayla McCombs had 11 points and 9 rebounds in the losing effort.  

Herkimer's next game will be home November 5th against Clinton CC at 2 pm.
