Bernier named October Green and Gold Athlete of the Month

Herkimer, NY – Herkimer College has announced its Green & Gold Athletes for the month of October.  They are men’s soccer player Roandre Wollery (Hartford, CT) and women’s cross country runner Chyanna Bernier (Ilion, NY). 

Chyanna Bernier has earned All Mountain Valley Conference and All Region accolades.   She  won the 2017 NJCAA DIII women’s cross country national championship, and also helped her team win the regional championship Bernier was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Women’s Athlete of the Week for the week of October 9^th, and Region III Female Athlete of the Week for the week of October 24th.
