Wollery named October Green and Gold athlete of the month

Herkimer, NY – Herkimer College has announced its Green & Gold Athletes for the month of October.  They are men’s soccer player Roandre Wollery (Hartford, CT) and women’s cross country runner Chyanna Bernier (Ilion, NY). 

Wollery played a large role in the success of the men’s soccer team this year. The sophomore has been a leader on the defensive side of the field all season. Wollery finished the season second in the country with a .67 GAA (goals against average). 

“Roandre is an incredible athlete who controls his penalty area. He is good with his feet and has made big time saves in many big time games,” said Head Coach Pepe Aragon.
