Hudson Valley comes back to defeat Herkimer, 47-42

Herkimer, NY - Hudson Valley outscored Herkimer 18-7 in the fourth quarter to come back and grab a 47-42 win over the Generals on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY. The loss drops Herkimer's record to 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in Mountain Valley Conference action.

Herkimer got off to a great start in its home opener, grabbing a 24-20 halftime lead and leading 35-29 at the end of the third before Hudson Valley stormed back in last quarter. Freshman center Markia Peak (Rochester, NY) led the Generals with 16 points on the afternoon. Lexi Debeatham (Albany, NY) chipped in with 8 points and Clinique Robinson (Catskill, NY) added 6 points in the tough loss.

The Generals are back at it on Tuesday night, as they travel to Dryden, NY to take on the Tompkins-Cortland Panthers in a non-conference matchup. Game time at TC-3 is set for 7:00 PM.
