Herkimer Women drop 60-55 decision to Cayuga

Herkimer, NY - In a back and forth battle, the Cayuga Spartans used a late run to edge Herkimer College by a score of 60-55 on Monday night in Herkimer, NY. The loss ended the first semester portion of the schedule for the Generals as they dropped to 3-7 on the year.

Myjoi Adams (Pomona, CA) led the Herkimer attack with 17 points on the evening while Markia Peak (Rochester, NY) added 16 in the defeat. Lexi Debeatham (Albany, NY) chipped in with 9 points, while hitting the only 3 point basket for the Generals on the evening.

Herkimer will now have a month off over the Christmas holiday and will return to the court on Saturday, January 12th as they will host the Niagara Timberwolves in the Varsity gym in Herkimer, NY. Tip off is set for 4:00 PM.
