Herkimer Womens Soccer Awards

Chicago, Illinois - The Herkimer Women's Soccer Team was well represented at the United Soccer Coaches Convention with several players and coaches receiving awards. Maddie Renshaw was named 1st Team All-American and Ashley Capron was 2nd Team All-American. Sarah George was named Junior College Scholar National Player of the Year, the program's first, and 1st Team Scholar All-American while Rachel Todd was named 2nd Team Scholar All-American. The coaching staff was named North Region Staff of the Year for the second consecutive year. They received their awards in Chicago where players throughout the country were recognized from NCAA Division 1, 2, 3, NJCAA, NAIA, High School, and club teams.

Also receiving awards were Caira Miles and Rachael Gross who were named to the Scholar East All-Region Team.

Jason Palkovic said, "This is a tremendous honor for the players and myself. It really punctuates all the hard work the team has put in and it is a reflection of our program. These awards are voted on by other coaches so to have one is great but to have 2 All-Americans,  2 Scholar All-Americans, & Scholar National Player of the Year is unbelievable. I am just really proud for this group of ladies and the team."
