Full Tuition Scholarship

The Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting essays, from Herkimer High School seniors, for a full-tuition scholarship in the amount of $4,670, for the first year of study at HCCC, being made possible through the Thomas J. and Joann L. Casale Family Scholarship Fund at HCCC. It is available to a 2019 graduating senior from Herkimer High School who must be planning to enroll at HCCC full-time in the fall 2019 semester.

              The applicant must file a FAFSA and TAP application. The award is open to Herkimer High School seniors and is valid only for use at HCCC. The student must write an essay on “The positives about Herkimer and growing up here.”

Essays should include the student’s full name, complete mailing address, phone number and e-mail.  Essays should be mailed to Jan Marie Fuhrer, HCC Foundation, 100 Reservoir Rd. Herkimer, NY 13350 no later than June 21, 2019.
