Men's and Women's Bowling opens 2020 Campaign at MVCC Hawk Invite

Rome, NY - The Herkimer Generals Men's and Women's Bowling teams opened their 2020 seasons at the Mohawk Valley Hawk Invite on Sunday afternoon in Rome, NY. The men finished 2nd while the women placed 3rd in a strong start to the season.

On the men’s side, Tim Cloonan (Clay, NY) finished 3rd in block 1, 2nd in block 2 and 2nd in all events. Other strong finishers were Andrew Celio (Little Falls, NY) who finished in 8th for all events and Kyle Celio (Little Falls, NY) who finished 11th in all events.

On the women’s side, our top all events finisher was Madeline Collier (Vestal, NY) who finished in 9th. Sierra Powers (Newark, NY) finished in 13th and Taylor Listovitch (Ilion, NY) finished in 14th.

The Generals next match will be on Wednesday, January 22nd as they will open Mountain Valley Conference play with a match at Schenectady CC. Start time is 1:00 PM.
