# 8 Onondaga defeats # 10 Herkimer

Herkimer, NY - In their 3rd matchup against a top 10 team in less than a week, the #10 Herkimer Generals fell to the #8 Onondaga Lazers by a score of 67-55 on Monday night in Herkimer. The loss drops Herkimer's record to 12-4 on the season.

The Lazers jumped out an 18-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back in earning their second win of the season against the Generals. Alysia Roldan (East Greenbush, NY) and Lexi DeBeatham (Menands, NY) scored 14 points apiece in the loss while Junasia Lanier (Albany, NY) and Amber Been (Bronx, NY) added 10 points apiece.

It doesn't get any easier for the Generals, as for the 4th time in 8 days, they will take on a top 10 nationally ranked opponents as # 7 Mohawk Valley will visit Herkimer on Wednesday, Jan 29. This will be rematch of a game played in November in Utica that the Generals won by a score of 50-47. Game time for Wednesday evening is set for 5:00 PM.
