# 4 Generals defeat Erie CC 9-0

Herkimer, NY - The Herkimer Generals shot out to 6-0 halftime lead and never looked back as they beat Erie CC by a score of 9-0 on Friday evening at Wehrum Stadium in Herkimer. The Generals, who are ranked # 4 in the latest NJCAA National Poll, improved to 3-1-1 in the 2021 Spring season.

Christ Valle (Highland Mills, NY) had 2 goals and 3 assists while Ali Somow tallied 2 goals as well. Heath Lucas (Chazy, NY) added a goal and 2 assists while Alex Charles (Christ Church, St. Kitts), Najib Ahmed (Syracuse, NY), Yohan Kim (Seoul, South Korea), and Justin Greiner (Cold Brook, NY) each contributed with a goal each. Manabu Takahashi (Osaka, Japan) earned his second shutout of the season in goal for the Generals.

Herkimer will now hit the road to take on the Cayuga CC Spartans in a huge Region III Matchup on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Park in Auburn, NY. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
