Generals Lose in Penalty Kicks

Saranac Lake NY- The Herkimer Generals Traveled to North Country CC Saints (10/27) for the District B, semi-finals. The game was knotted through the first half, but the Generals struck first when Hailey Traut (Frankfort, NY) pounded in the first goal of the game, 13th on the season. 

The Saint's tied the game up with 3 minutes left to push the game into overtime. After neither team scored in overtime, the game went to penalty kicks where the Saint's won in a 4-2 advantage. 

Freshman Goalkeeper Kurstin Gay (Herkimer, NY) turned in 20 saves on 21 shots on goal keeping the Generals alive throughout the game.

The Generals finish the season the season 8-5 in Coach Neish's first year at the helm.
