Rematch against Mohawk Valley comes one game short
SYRACUSE, NY – Looking for revenge from a 1-0 overtime loss to Onondaga Community College back in September, the women's soccer team played the Lazers Saturday afternoon in a Region III playoff game. Onondaga repeated, winning 4-1, crushing any chances Herkimer had at advancing to further play on Tuesday (10/22).
Scoring for Herkimer (8-6-1, 2-2 MVC) was Kalli Warmingham (Newport, NY). The freshman midfielder scored in the 79th minute with the team down 4-0, foregoing the attempt at a shutout. It was Warmingham's fourth goal of the season, first in the playoffs.
