Two Herkimer Generals student-athletes named NJCAA All Americans for Track and Field
The Herkimer Generals Men’s & Women’s Track and Field team concluded their 2025 season with several standout performances at the NJCAA Division III National Championships, which included freshman Kimora Brown earning All-American honors in the 200-meter dash and sophomore Cam Borges earning All-American honors in the shotput.
Brown made her championship debut in the 100-meter dash prelims. She ran a time of 12.97 to qualify for finals, placing fifth overall in the heats. Later that day, she ran the third fastest heat in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.72.
In the 100-meter dash final, Brown set a program record, finishing in fifth place—running a time of 12.74, less than 0.3 seconds better than the first-place finisher. Later that day, she ran the 200-meter dash, setting another program record, finishing in second place with a time of 26.13, only 0.01 seconds behind the first-place finisher, earning NJCAA All-American honors.
Cam Borges ended his Herkimer career setting a personal-best with a 12.55m throw at the shotput, claiming third place and the status of NJCAA All-American.
Sophomore Donnell Davis competed in the 10,000-meter race, setting a personal record with a time of 34:49.21 and a fourth-place finish. Sophomore Eleyna Rivas competed in the 800-meter dash, finishing 10th in the qualifying rounds and seventh in the high jump.
