Suffolk advances to semis with four unanswered goals

HERKIMER, NY – Scoring four unanswered goals in the game’s final 48 minutes helped the Suffolk Sharks defeated the Camden Cougars 4-1 on Thursday (11/13) in regulation at Wehrum Stadium during the NJCAA DIII National Quarterfinal.

Camden (17-2, 10-1) scored the first goal of the game in the 26th minute when Zachary Gray scored. After that, Suffolk’s Joseph Lopez, Romario Hulea and Anfanee Lopez combined for four unanswered goals.

In net for the Sharks was Jon Zapata. He saved four, just as many as Camden’s Robert Munday.
