Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

Herkimer College Communication Arts: Radio-Television Broadcasting students enrolled in Advanced Video Production are bringing back the weekly student produced news program, which was on hiatus last semester for set construction.

Herkimer College Appoints Coordinator of International Academic ProgrammingHerkimer College announces the appointment of Ember Traino of Utica, NY to the position of coordinator of international academic programming. Traino will be responsible for developing and managing international academic programming, teaching in the English as a Second Language (ESL) instructional program, coordinating ESL testing, placements, course outlines and assessment, advising the International Student Club, and working collaboratively with the Admissions and Student Activities Offices to plan and staff international student orientation activities.

Club/Organization Showcase held at Herkimer CollegeHerkimer College’s Center for Student Leadership and Involvement held a Club/Organization showcase to promote participation in student activities and increase membership in student clubs. The Human Services Club pictured here, took first place in the table display contest winning $100 for their club. Tying for second place was the Physical Therapist Assistant Club & Fashion Club ($75 each) and their place was the Travel Club ($50).
