Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

Student Completes Honors ProjectAlice Curtis, a Business Administration major from Mohawk, NY recently completed an Honors Program project “How to Finger-Knit” by presenting to several Fashion Buying and Merchandising classes on how to make a knit stitch as well as teaching students how to finger-knit a scarf. Curtis is a published author who wrote a knitting book “Knit Your Socks Straight” which is a follow up to “Knitting on two Straight Needles,” (Storey Publishing).

Campus Christian FellowshipThirty-two students from Herkimer College’s Campus Christian Fellowship joined other college students for a three-day conference in Rome, NY. The event included six messages from the Word of God, along with many activities including ultimate frisbee, rag ball, basketball, man hunt, bon fires on the lake, praise and worship. The Herkimer College Campus Christian Fellowship provides students an opportunity to gather together, share their faith and support each other in living Christian lives.
