Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

NewsHerkimer College Names New Director of AdmissionsMichael Harrington, of Herkimer, NY, has been promoted to director of admissions at Herkimer College. He previously served as an admissions assistant at the College since August 2024. In this role, Harrington has built relationships with school counselors, advised prospective students on academic programs and support services, organized recruitment events, and managed recruitment data and prospective student outreach through a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced its 2024-25 All-Academic Teams, and 28 Herkimer College student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

NewsHerkimer College Appoints Payroll Staff Accountant and Purchasing AgentJoseph Kelly, of New Hartford, NY, has been appointed to the position of payroll staff accountant. Kelly most recently served as staff accountant for the Faculty-Student Association at Herkimer College. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Albany.
