  • Herkimer College Donates to Red Cross “Winter Warmth Project” for Local Veterans
    Herkimer College employees recently donated hundreds of blankets, coats, gloves, hats and scarves for the Red Cross “Winter Warmth Project" to benefit local veterans. The donations of new winter apparel and accessories were delivered to the CNY Veterans Outreach Center in Utica, where they will be distributed to homeless and in-need veterans throughout the Mohawk Valley.
  • Cogar Gallery to Include Art from Como and McPherson
    Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery will showcase Justin Como and Andrew McPherson’s “Proprioceptive” through Friday, February 26. An artist reception will be held on Friday, January 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Students Named to President's and Dean's Lists
    Herkimer County Community College awarded honors to 459 students for the fall 2015 semester. Of those students awarded honors, 166 were named to the President’s List for earning a grade point average of 3.80 or higher, and 293 were named to the Dean’s List for earning a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79.
  • Active Shooter Exercise at Herkimer College
    Herkimer College’s Campus Safety Department joined forces with local police, local EMT’s and volunteers on Thursday, January 7 to conduct an active shooter drill in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
  • Kazual to Perform at Herkimer College
    Herkimer College will host a performance of Kazual on Thursday, January 28 from 8:00 -10:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 288.
  • Schwabach Photo Accepted to U.S. Botanic Garden Exhibit
    The U.S. Botanic Garden (USBG) in Washington, D.C. will feature Herkimer College Associate Professor Emeritus James Bruce Schwabach’s Yosemite photo “El Capitan with Ponderosa Pines” in an exhibit from February 18 through October 2, 2016.
