  • HCCC Brings Awareness to Domestic Violence
    HCCC’s College Center entrance is lit up in purple this month in an effort to bring awareness to domestic violence. This is one of several ways HCCC is doing its part to observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to let victims know they’re not alone and that resources are available regardless of where they live. Purple is the symbolic color for domestic violence awareness, and historically, the battered women’s movement.
  • Fall Movie Series “The Expendables 3”
    HCCC will be showing “The Expendables 3” on Wednesday, November 5 at 8:00 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Sarkus Busch Theater.
  • HCCC Appoints Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students
    HCCC announces the appointment of Erin E.L. DeChiaro, Poland, NY, to the position of administrative assistant to the dean of students. DeChiaro will provide administrative support and assistance to the dean of students and director of campus safety.
  • HCCC to Hold Fall Open House
    HCCC will hold its Fall Open House on Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet the faculty, explore the campus, learn about financial aid and attend parent and student question and answer sessions. Guided tours of the campus and housing will be available.
  • John Zaffis, Godfather of the Paranormal to present at HCCC
    HCCC will host a presentation by John Zaffis, godfather of the paranormal, on Wednesday, October 29 at 9:00 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 288. The event is free and open to the public.
  • HCCC Programs Added to Open SUNY+
    State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher today announced that two HCCC degree programs, Paralegal (A.A.S.) and Quality Assurance-Business (A.S.), have been added to Open SUNY+, the university system’s signature online learning initiative. An additional 54 degrees and certificates at 16 other SUNY schools were have also been added to Open SUNY+. While all of SUNY’s online offerings, including more than 400 degree programs and 12,000 course sections, are a part of Open SUNY, those powered by “Open SUNY+” feature additional support services for students and faculty.
