Herkimer County Community College is expanding its academic offerings with the launch of a new Artificial Intelligence – Business degree program, designed to prepare students for success in one of today’s fastest-growing and most in-demand fields.

Welding Courses Offered at HCCCHCCC will be offering non-credit welding courses.

HCCC Accepting Registrations for Winter Mini SessionHCCC will offer a winter mini session from January 2-20, 2015. More than 40 different courses are offered in a variety of subject areas. Art Show to Feature Work of Two Alumnae at Fall Fest & Alumni WeekendThe artwork of two HCCC alumnae will be featured at the Cogar Gallery with the opening being held this weekend in conjunction with Fall Fest & Alumni Weekend. The show will feature the work of Debbie Ruane Sullivan Ingernick’79 and Carolynn McCann Dufft’81.

Admissions Office Open SaturdayIn conjunction with HCCC’s Fall Fest & Alumni weekend, the Admissions Office will be open on Saturday, October 4 from noon to 3 p.m. Admissions counselors will be available to answer questions, and campus tours will be conducted. Additionally, a Genesis Group Discovery Tour of the Gaynor Science Center will take place at 3 p.m.

Zombie Run to Take Place Saturday at HCCCThe HCCC cross country team is hosting a 1.5 mile Zombie Run on Saturday October 4. Runners will wear flags attached to their waists and will try to finish without the zombies grabbing their flags. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place male and female finishers in the 10 -18 and 19 and up age groups. The cost is $5 per runner. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. at Wehrum Stadium. The race will start at noon. Participants must be 10 years of age or older. All proceeds will benefit the HCCC cross country program.
