Herkimer Generals are Named #1 Two-Year College Athletic Program in the NationFor the first time in the history of HCCC, the Herkimer Generals athletic program has won the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup, ranking Herkimer first in the nation among NJCAA non-scholarship programs. Herkimer also won third place in the NCAA Learfield Sports Directors Cup. Both programs recognize excellence in two-year colleges, based on athletic success in championship competition.

JUMPSTART: A Free Program for New HCCC StudentsHCCC is offering an academic orientation program for incoming freshmen this summer, entitled JUMPSTART. The program includes small group sessions with Herkimer faculty, academic support staff and student ambassadors. The focus of JUMPSTART is to strengthen student advocacy skills, build a foundation for appropriate use of academic resources and prepare for the expectations of a college classroom.
