  HCCC to Host American Red Cross Blood Drive

  HCCC will host an American Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, April 20th, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall, located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. Those who give blood will receive an exclusive Red Cross and PEANUTS t-shirt.

  Notice of Board of Trustees Meetings

  The annual and regular meetings of the HCCC Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, 282/283. The Executive Committee meeting will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. in CA 243.

  HCCC Student Elected to Regional PTK Office; Chapter Recognized

  HCCC’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) received an award at the PTK New York Regional Convention, held in Rochester, March 17-19, for “Most Distinguished Honors in Action.” The research project, “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work,” explored the theme of how the experience of play can serve as a catalyst for epiphanies, innovations, and inventions. The project was led by chapter president Kyle Poulos, Sanborn, NY, and featured the efforts of many active members. Poulos is a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice, and he also serves as a student trustee on the HCCC Board of Trustees.

  HCCC to Host ‘Haunted’ Author Dennis Webster, Friday, March 31

  HCCC will host local author and paranormal investigator, Dennis Webster, for a presentation on “Haunted Mohawk Valley” at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 31, in the Robert McLaughlin College Center (RMCC 288). The event is free and open to the public.
