  • Two Herkimer College Students Awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar Athlete Award
    Two Herkimer College student-athletes received the 2017 SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar Athlete Award recognizing a combination of outstanding academic excellence and superior athletic achievement. They were among only 77 recipients from the 64 SUNY campuses statewide to receive the award this year.

  • Herkimer County Community College Announces Candidates for the College’s 49th Commencement
    Herkimer County Community College’s 49th Commencement will be held on Friday, May 19 at 5 pm in the gymnasium of the Physical Education Building. There are 423 candidates for associate degrees and 20 candidates for certificates. Of those candidates, 73 completed their programs online through the College’s Internet Academy.
  • Herkimer College Inducts 55 Students into Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society
    Herkimer College held its annual Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 25. Fifty five students were inducted into Herkimer College’s Upsilon Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.
  • Herkimer College Presents Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges Awards
    Herkimer College recognized 15 students for their achievements with the Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges Award. The ceremony was held in the Cogar Gallery on Wednesday, May 3.
  • New Sign Dedication for Bull Family Nature Trail at Herkimer College
    The Bull family was recently on hand for a sign dedication at the Bull Family Nature Trail located at Herkimer County Community College. The trail has long been named in memory of the late Lloyd and Carol Bull who were supporters of the Herkimer County College Foundation. Prior to the sign dedication, students and faculty members of the Outdoor Adventure/Green Club cleaned up the trail and posted new trail markers. The student Art Club also contributed to the effort by painting the new trail markers.
