Herkimer County Community College is expanding its academic offerings with the launch of a new Artificial Intelligence – Business degree program, designed to prepare students for success in one of today’s fastest-growing and most in-demand fields.

Paranormal Investigation Course Offered at Herkimer CollegeHerkimer College will offer a non-credit paranormal investigation course, beginning in February. ‘Chasing Shadows 101’ will be taught by the New York Shadow Chasers who have been investigating the paranormal for the last 12 years.

Wood Great Artists Series Presents: DanúThe Herkimer County College Foundation will host Danú on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Sarkus Busch Theater located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center at Herkimer College. Herkimer College Donates to Red Cross “Winter Warmth Project” for Local VeteransHerkimer College employees recently donated hundreds of blankets, coats, gloves, hats and scarves for the Red Cross “Winter Warmth Project" to benefit local veterans. The donations of new winter apparel and accessories were delivered to the CNY Veterans Outreach Center in Utica, where they will be distributed to homeless and in-need veterans throughout the Mohawk Valley.

Cogar Gallery to Include Art from Como and McPhersonHerkimer College’s Cogar Gallery will showcase Justin Como and Andrew McPherson’s “Proprioceptive” through Friday, February 26. An artist reception will be held on Friday, January 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Students Named to President's and Dean's ListsHerkimer County Community College awarded honors to 459 students for the fall 2015 semester. Of those students awarded honors, 166 were named to the President’s List for earning a grade point average of 3.80 or higher, and 293 were named to the Dean’s List for earning a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79.
