    Alexandra DeBeatham named Herkimer College Female Athlete of the Year
    Herkimer, NY - Herkimer College Athletic Director Donald Dutcher has announced that Alexandra DeBeatham (Menands, NY) has been named the 2019-2020 Herkimer College Female Athlete of the Year. DeBeatham, a sophomore and the women’s basketball team co-captain, was named First Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-Region. She averaged 14.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. She also led the generals with 42 3-pointers while shooting 40 percent from behind the arc.

    Three Herkimer College employees honored with 2020 SUNY Chancellor’s Awards

    With the addition of these three employees, a total of 75 Herkimer College faculty and staff have been honored with the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.

    Tyler Dobinson named Herkimer College Male Athlete of the Year
    HERKIMER, NY-Herkimer College Athletic Director Donald Dutcher recently announced that men's soccer player Tyler Dobinson (Exmouth, England) has been named the 2019-2020 Herkimer College Male Athlete of the Year. Tyler is a two time starter who captained Herkimer to a Region III championship and the NJCAA national championship game this past fall.

    Student-run newspaper launched at Herkimer College
    Members of Herkimer College and the community at large will have a new way to keep up with the goings on at the campus with the implementation of The General, a student-run newspaper that has debuted at the College.

    Herkimer College will host 2021-2023 NJCAA Division III Softball National Championships
    The NJCAA announced on Wednesday, April 29 that Herkimer College will serve as the host institution for the 2021, 2022, and 2023 NJCAA Division III Softball National Championships. The tournament will be played at Carrier Park in Syracuse, New York, for all three years. The tournament was played for the last 15 years in Rochester, Minnesota.
