Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

NewsHerkimer County Community College announces 2019 Torchbearer Award recipientsHerkimer County Community College recently announced the recipients of the 2019 Torchbearer Awards. Torchbearer Awards are presented every five years to recognize individuals who have made substantial contributions to the College’s development, with particular attention given to those whose contributions were made in the first 20 years of the College’s history (1966–1986). The Torchbearer Awards have been presented since 1999, and recipients include members of the College’s emeritus faculty and staff, as well as community members who contributed significantly to the growth and success of the College.

AthleticsHerkimer College Leads the Region with Largest Number of Student-Athletes to Earn Academic All-Region HonorsForty seven Herkimer College student-athletes earned NJCAA Academic All-Region honors for 2018-2019. To qualify for this award, students must have completed at least 24 credit hours during the academic year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
