Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

Herkimer College Students Participate in United Way Emerging Leaders Hygiene Supply DriveHerkimer County Community College's Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa participated in the United Way’s Emerging Leader’s hygiene supply drive. United Way’s Emerging Leaders United is a group of community member volunteers, 40 year of age and under, working to further the mission of United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area. The Volunteer Taskforce committee coordinated a hygiene supply drive this fall to give needed items such as soap, shampoo, feminine products, toothbrushes, etc. to those in need within our community. The drive ran from October 11th to November 8th. Items collected will benefit local pantries and shelters including the Mohawk Valley YWCA. Members of Upsilon Epsilon chapter coordinated several drop off areas on campus. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for two-year college students. Herkimer College Criminal Justice Club Conducts Park Clean-upThe Criminal Justice Club at Herkimer County Community College recently held a park clean-up at the Tony Baggetta Mini Park, located at the corner of West Smith and William Streets in the Village of Herkimer. Under the leadership of club advisor Katie Stables, the Criminal Justice Club has helped prepare the park for the annual traditional holiday tree lighting ceremony for many years. Herkimer College to hold Veterans Day Info SessionsHerkimer, NY— Herkimer County Community College will hold information sessions for prospective students on Monday, November 12 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The sessions will include an admissions presentation and/or meeting with an admissions representative and a campus tour. Financial aid representatives will also be available.
