Herkimer College to offer Instant Admit DaysHerkimer College will offer Instant Admit Days beginning on Friday, May 4 through Friday, August 31 for prospective students interested in enrolling in the fall 2018 semester. Herkimer College’s Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Achieves Top HonorHerkimer College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Upsilon Epsilon, was one of twelve colleges in the New York region to receive a five-star designation. Five stars is the highest level of chapter recognition by Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year colleges.

Herkimer College Children’s Center Openings for Summer and FallThe Herkimer College Children’s Center has openings available for children from ages 18 months to 5 years old for both the summer program and fall 2018 semester. The summer program starts as early as May 21 and the fall semester starts on August 27.

Two Local Students Honored with SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student ExcellenceHerkimer County Community College students Brendan Murphy, of Whitesboro, NY, and Emma Vanderwerken, of Frankfort, NY, have been awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.
A senior Business Administration major, Murphy is an honors student, having been named to the Dean’s List, as well as the President’s List. He is very active on campus serving as president of Student Government Association, student representative on the Board of Trustees as well as a student ambassador and peer tutor. Murphy is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
