    Herkimer College’s Women’s Club is sponsoring “An Afternoon with Helen Sperling: Holocaust Survivor, Historian, Teacher.” The program will be held on Wednesday, December 2 from 4-6 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Sarkus Busch Theater.
  • Festival of Lights at Herkimer Mini Park
    The annual “Festival of Lights” will take place on Tuesday, December 1 at the Tony Baggetta Mini Park, located on the corner of West Smith and William Streets. The festival will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a reception at the Herkimer Area Resource Center Valley Commons, located at 344 South Main Street.

    “My Job, My Future” Student Essay Contest top prize winner Reilly Rich’s essay talked about much of the positive developments taking place in the Mohawk Valley such as nanotechnology, new restaurants, the Rockin’ Jump trampoline park opening soon in New Hartford, the Utica Comets, new hotels and plans for a new hospital.

    Herkimer College’s Amnesty International Club is sponsoring an Amnesty International Global Write-4-Rights event on Tuesday, December 1 from noon -2 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
  • Herkimer College Children’s Center Accepting Registrations
    Herkimer College’s Children’s Center is now accepting child care registrations for children 18 months to five years of age for the spring 2016 semester beginning Monday, January 25, 2016.
  • HCTV Takeover Scheduled to Highlight Media Programs
    On Saturday, November 21st, the Communication Arts programs at Herkimer College will present the return of the HCTV Takeover live on Time Warner Cable’s public access channel, HCTV. The three hour live television event will begin at 8 p.m. and run until 11 p.m. The HCTV Takeover highlights the various Communication Arts programs at Herkimer, including Radio-Television Broadcasting, Digital Filmmaking, New Media and Music Industry.
