Commit 2 Complete Program
The Commit 2 Complete program at Herkimer College provides $1,000 for on-campus housing for students who pledge to complete their degree in two years or less.
Students accepted into the Commit 2 Complete program will be part of a cohort of on-campus residential students who will move through college together. The $1000 award will be applied to on-campus housing charges in installments of $500 during the first and $500 during the final semesters.
In addition to receiving financial assistance toward on-campus housing, students will also benefit from participation in activities and events that have shown to have a positive impact on student success. Additionally, Commit 2 Complete program participants will be assigned an academic advisor specially trained to provide assistance and support to this cohort throughout the two years at Herkimer College.
To be eligible for the Commit 2 Complete program, the student must be matriculated into an associate degree program full-time and take at least 16 credit hours the first semester (includes FS100). Eligible students must be new or transfer first-time, full-time students on campus. Preference is given to domestic students first, and the program will be opened to international students if seats remain. The program is for students starting in the fall semester only.
To be accepted into the Commit 2 Complete program, students must submit their housing contract and pay the housing deposit, and submit the Commit 2 Complete pledge form by the deadline.
Students must honor the Commit 2 Complete pledge for continued eligibility.
