Herkimer County Community College is expanding its academic offerings with the launch of a new Artificial Intelligence – Business degree program, designed to prepare students for success in one of today’s fastest-growing and most in-demand fields.

Last Chance to Register for Fall SemesterHCCC will hold a final registration day on Wednesday, August 20 for newly accepted students beginning at 10:30 am in the Robert McLaughlin College Center lobby. Following check-in, placement testing and registration for the fall semester will take place. HCCC & Cazenovia College Partner To Offer Bachelor’s Degree At Herkimer
Herkimer County Community College will launch a new partnership with Cazenovia College in fall 2014. HCCC students who earn an associate degree in Education or 60+ credits with prerequisites, will have transfer status into a Cazenovia College baccalaureate program in Inclusive Early Childhood Education, to be offered on the Herkimer campus.

Weather Watchers CampHerkimer, NY -- The Weather Watchers Camp, sponsored by HCCC and Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES, took place from Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31 at HCCC and was taught by WKTV meteorologist Bill Kardas. Scholarships were made possible by the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties to help students attend the camp. Fifteen children between the ages of 9 to 13 participated in the program that featured learning about weather and conducting science experiments.

HCCC Child Care Center Accepting RegistrationsHCCC’s Child Care Center is now accepting registrations for children 18 months to five years of age for the fall 2014 semester beginning Monday, August 25. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch and snack are included.

HCCC Offers Instant Admit Days in AugustHCCC will offer four Instant Admit Days in August. Students interested in enrolling for the fall 2014 semester will be able to visit, apply and get admitted to the College on the same day. Instant Admit Days will be held on Mondays, August 4, 11 & 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
