Full Tuition ScholarshipThe Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting essays, from Herkimer High School seniors, for a full-tuition scholarship in the amount of $4,670, for the first year of study at HCCC, being made possible through the Thomas J. and Joann L. Casale Family Scholarship Fund at HCCC. It is available to a 2019 graduating senior from Herkimer High School who must be planning to enroll at HCCC full-time in the fall 2019 semester.

Physical Therapist Assistant Students Offering Hands-Only CPR TrainingIn recognition of National Heart Month, HCCC students enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program are offering Hands-Only CPR training for campus and community members. The students recently had the opportunity to participate in a Hands-Only CPR training session provided by The American Heart Association and NYCM Insurance. The CPR mannequins used in the training will continue to be available on campus through the remainder of the month, allowing students to train others. HCCC Appoints Acting Director of Information TechnologyAndrew Allen has been appointed to the position of acting director of information technology at Herkimer County Community College. Allen will be responsible for the planning, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation of all information systems.
