Highlighting the critical importance of improving student success in America’s community colleges, the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program today named Herkimer County Community College as one of the nation’s top 150 community colleges eligible to compete for the 2015 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and $1 million dollars in prize funds. -
Financial Aid WorkshopHerkimer College is hosting a financial aid workshop for students and families of college bound students. This “hands-on” session will allow students, parents and families to complete the 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the help of a financial aid member. The workshop will be held Saturday, February 22 from 9-11 a.m. in the Ronald F. Williams Library, Academic Support Center. Registration is required. Herkimer College Offers Information SessionHerkimer College will hold an Information Session for prospective students on Thursday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to noon in the McLaughlin College Center. Representatives from the Admissions and Financial Aid offices will be available to explain and assist with the application process. Campus tours will be offered at 10 and 11 am.
