  Coronavirus Update: March 18

  As announced yesterday, classes will resume on Monday, March 30th (instead of March 23rd). Classes that are currently online (Sections V and SO) will continue as scheduled after spring break on Monday, March 23.

  NJCAA Cancels 2020 Spring Competition for All Sports

  Charlotte, NC - In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic that is currently affecting the United States, the NJCAA has cancelled ALL Spring Sports competition for the 2020 season. This includes the following Herkimer Sports:

  HCCC reduces on-campus staff numbers; others move to remote work

  The College will follow the directive as set by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

  HCCC to delay resuming classes until March 30th (except for those already online)

  All classes using alternate methods of delivery will now resume on Monday, March 30th. This delay from its original March 23rd date is to give faculty additional time for planning and training as the College moves courses to alternative modes of delivery, according to the Provost’s Office. The need for social distancing and distance learning is to help curb the global spread of the Coronavirus.
