Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series Presents a Free Performance by Dreamers’ CircusThe Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series will present Dreamers’ Circus on Friday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. in Herkimer College’s Sarkus-Busch Theater. The performance is open to the public and free of charge.
A new driving force in Nordic world music is the young Danish trio, Dreamers’ Circus. Contemporary and endlessly innovative in their approach, they draw inspiration from the deep traditions of folk music in the region and reshape them into something bright, shiny and new. Dreamers’ Circus display inventiveness and talent in their approach to performances that include music from Denmark and Sweden as well as Iceland and the far reaches of the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The ensemble has won five prestigious Danish Music Awards and toured throughout Europe and beyond, with performances in Japan and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. -
Herkimer College’s Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Achieves Top Honor and Names Two Students to PTK All-State Academic TeamsHerkimer College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Upsilon Epsilon, has received a five-star designation for the second consecutive year. Five stars is the highest level of chapter recognition by Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year colleges.
