Herkimer College’s Bill Pelz to Present at World Conference on Online LearningHerkimer County Community College Professor William Pelz, also the instructional designer for online learning, will present on the design and implementation of student-determined learning activities and assessments at the World Conference on Online Learning. This conference will take place October 16-19 in Toronto, Canada. Delegates from all over the world will be in attendance and will have the opportunity to learn new modes of teaching, learning, course delivery, and assessment in higher education and to network with other educators.

Herkimer College is an Aspen Prize Top 150 U.S. Community College Recognized for Excellence in Community College Student Success OutcomesHerkimer County Community College has been named one of 150 community colleges eligible to compete for the 2019 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges. Herkimer College was selected from a pool of nearly 1,000 public two-year colleges nationwide to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize.
