Herkimer College Hosts Midnight Breakfast for StudentsHerkimer College faculty, staff and trustees served breakfast to students at the College’s Midnight Breakfast, an annual event for all students, held in the Dining Center on the last day of classes. Approximately 400 plates were served to students who attended the breakfast on Tuesday, May 10, looking for a late night meal while prepping for finals. Herkimer County Community College Announces Candidates for the 48th Annual CommencementHerkimer County Community College announces candidates for the 48th annual commencement to be held Friday, May 20 at 5 pm in the gymnasium of the Physical Education Building. There are 508 candidates for associate degrees and 35 candidates for certificates.
Students who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.25-3.79 as of the completion of the fall 2015 semester are awarded the associate degree cum laude; 3.80-3.99 are awarded the associate degree magna cum laude; 4.0 are awarded the associate degree summa cum laude. -

Eighty One Students Inducted to Phi Theta Kappa International Honor SocietyHerkimer County Community College’s Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Society inducted 81 students at a ceremony on April 26 in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. Chapter President Jill Cadena David presided over the ceremony, along with College President Cathleen McColgin, Provost Michael Oriolo and Dean of Students Dr. Matthew Hawes.
