Simple sign-up through the Internet Academy

We’re so glad you’re thinking about enrolling! Read the Open Letter to Prospective Students, then just follow these 7 easy steps.

If you do no want to pursue a degree at Herkimer, go right to step 3.

  1. Apply for admission  
  2. Select your program of study (unless you are not working toward a degree)
  3. Choose your courses 
  4. Register 
  5. Order your textbooks 
  6. Get your username & password
  7. Access your course by the first day of class

While it is not required before the first day of class, you should access your courses several days prior to the actual start date to check your schedule, review the course requirements, and participate in any icebreaker module that may be present. 

Note: It is Herkimer College policy that if you register for a course and participate in any of the online activities, you have "attended” that class and are not eligible for a full refund of the tuition. Participation in any of the 'Icebreaker' assignments constitutes class participation. Tuition refunds are pro-rated from the first day of the semester.
