Concurrent Enrollment.

What is College Now and What Can It Do For ME?
  • High school students take SUNY Herkimer courses at their high school, and earn college credit while simultaneously earning high school credit.
  • Courses are offered by the high school, delivered at the high school site as part of the normal school day, and are taught by approved high school teachers.
  • Students register in the high school with the assistance of their counselor(s).
  • Students pay $0 in tuition.
  • Learning about college expectations and introducing you to college culture
  • Saving money by reducing future college costs
  • Showing college admissions officers that you are a serious student

College Now Eligibility Requirements.

Students must have demonstrated the ability to meet the standards required of college-level courses and be in grades 10-12. Students qualify for participation in the program based on the recommendation of the guidance counselor.
