Fostering accessibility throughout Herkimer College is always a top priority. Whether you need a sign language interpreter, assistance with note-taking or e-texts, an advocate to help you set up alternative testing arrangements, or just need to be referred to the right services on campus or in the community, the Accessibility Services Office can help.
Students must be registered with the Accessibility Services Office to receive accommodation services.

Once you have registered with SSD and have reviewed your semester accommodation plan with our office, it is important to meet one-on-one with each class instructor. You’ll want to be prepared to discuss your strengths and preferred learning style. Getting to know your instructors is an important key to success!
