This course is intended for early childhood teacher candidates to develop appropriate curriculum that will promote participation and progress of infants and toddlers in the Physical, Cognitive, Language and Literacy Developmental areas. The course will examine the influence of family, culture and developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments for infant and toddler group care. Students will make arrangement for the required 15 hours of preservice contacts required which will include assessment and evaluation of infant and toddler development.
