Making The Most of Your College Now Course Credit

There are so many ways to make progress on your college degree and save money while still in high school! Our academic advisors are here to help provide you with guidance on pursuing the best-fit path for you:

HCCC Degrees and Certificates: All credits earned through the College Now program will apply to programs at HCCC, but you want to ensure that the coursework you are taking aligns with your program of interest. Make sure to follow the published curriculum to maximize the applicability of your College Now coursework to your future degree or certificate at HCCC!

SUNY Transfer Paths: These are a set of common courses that are incorporated into all majors that align with each listed discipline across all SUNY campuses. To maximize the applicability of your credits across all SUNY schools, try to take courses within your transfer path of interest.

Not Sure Yet? That's okay, too! If you do not know what academic or career path you may be interested in following yet, you can best prepare yourself by taking one course from each of the SUNY General Education requirements, as these will expose you to a wide range of subjects and generally prepare you for whatever academic program you decide to pursue after high school.
