This course is designed to address the day-to-day issues a student faces living and studying in a new environment, dependent upon a second language for most interpersonal communications. Students will compare experiences and discuss problem solving techniques. The course will provide opportunities for practice in informal communication. For international students, this course may be substituted for freshman seminar.
