This course examines the organization (historical to present) of the K-12 Education system in America. Current controversies, legislation, and practices that affect teaching, learning, assessment, funding, diversity, and technology will be discussed. Strategies to support learning will be identified to allow for collaboration between schools, teachers, students and their families. Fifteen hours of observation is required.
